Information definition (revamped existing documentation) and Information Management (including CDE management). Client-side information management for Stage 4 reviewing contractor models.
Service: Bond Bryan Digital were employed to develop existing information requirements for the University of Cambridge. These evolved so that the data requirements were more detailed, splitting out the Asset Information Requirements (AIR) from the existing Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR) and building the data more around open standards. This enabled the development of robust and extensive model-checking rules that aligned with the requirements documentation.
Working with the design team, both projects were subjected to rigorous model checking at both RIBA Stage 2 (Concept Design) and RIBA Stage 3 (Developed Design) to ensure compliance with the detailed information requirements. Outputs at the end of each stage included formal reports, federated models, COBie and Quality Control Reports demonstrating the compliance of the data produced for the COBie file.
Bond Bryan Digital also assisted the University with the setup of their selected Common Data Environment (CDE), which is Asite, to align with current industry standards. Bond Bryan Digital have subsequently been responsible for managing the project information on the selected CDE.
Bond Bryan Digital were also commissioned as Information Consultants for RIBA Stage 4 to review the contractor team progress and ensure continuity of delivery.
